FIRST WEEK [08-11-2017 to  14-11-2017]
CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
In this week I took the chapter, The Jungle Air Crash, from unit 4 Dawn of Hope in class 9M.  I introduced the chapter by showing the titular picture of Ira Singhal.  I taught up to Juliane’s plan to sleep in the hut at the end of the first week. I gave them many group activities and assignment related to the chapter by giving activity cards.  I employed power point presentations to make the classes lively. Also, I checked their homework, and listening and reading comprehensions. Students were attentive in my class.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
This week I conducted different co-curricular activities in my class.  On Wednesday, ( 08/11/2017) I conducted a quiz competition in the class 9M.  Sreekanth won the competition and I gave him a small gift.  On Monday (13/11/2017) I got an opportunity to conduct a debate on “Campus Politics”.  Students were actively participated in the debate.
II WEEK [15-11-2017 to 21-11-2017]
CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
             In this week also I continued the chapter “The Jungle Air Crash” from the 4th unit “The Dawn of Hope”.  On 15/11/2017, I completed the chapter “The Jungle Air Crash”. The next day, I taught them how to write a news report. The students did the textual activities which come under “The Jungle Air Crash” according to my instructions. On Friday (17/11/2017), I taught them webinar using ICT. On Monday, I started to teach a poem, “Another Chance” which I completed on Tuesday (21/11/2017). I employed power point presentations to make the classes lively. Also, I checked their homeworks, and listening and reading comprehensions. Students were attentive in my class. I completed the portions within the stipulated time.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
             This week I conducted different co-curricular activities in my class.  On Friday (17/11/2017), I conducted a webinar on the topic “My Role Model” in class 9M.  It was a group work. Third group performed well. Almost all the students actively participated in this section.
III WEEK [22-11-2017 to 28-11-2017]
CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
In this week I started to teach the short story, The Last Leaf, from unit 4 Dawn of Hope in class 9M.  I introduced the chapter by giving an account of O. Henry, the author of The Last Leaf.  I taught up to Sue giving courage to Johnsy at the end of the third week. I gave them many group activities and assignment related to the chapter by giving activity cards.  I employed power point presentations to make the classes lively. Also, I checked their homework, and listening and reading comprehensions. Students were attentive in my class.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
             This week I conducted different co-curricular activities in my class.  On Monday, (27/11/2017), I conducted skit competition in class 9C.  First group won the competition. I gave a small gift to the group members.  On Tuesday (28/11/2017), I conducted a poster competition based on survival theme with my 9 M students.  Almost all the students actively participated in the competition.
IV WEEK [29-11-2017 to 06-12-2017]
CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
             On Monday (29/11/2017), I completed the short story, The Last Leaf , from the unit “Dawn of Hope”.  The next day onwards, I taught them language activities such as modal auxiliaries, conjunctions, prepositions, etc. I gave certain activities in activity cards. On Wednesday (6/12/2017), I started a new unit, Enlightening Minds.  I taught the first and second stanzas from the poem, Newton’s Law which came in the unit. I gave them many group activities and assignment related to the chapter by giving activity cards.  I employed power point presentations to make the classes lively. Also, I checked their homework, and listening and reading comprehensions. Students were attentive in my class.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
            This week I conducted different co-curricular activities in my class.  On Wednesday, (29/11/2017), I conducted elocution in class 9M.  Athul won the competition.  On Tuesday (4/12/2017), I conducted an essay competition on the topic “The Importance of Reading in Today’s World”.  Almost all the students in 9 M actively participated in the competition.
V WEEK [07-12-2017 -  01-01-2018]
CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
            On Tuesday (07/12/2017), I completed the poem, Newton’s Law, from the unit Enlightening Minds. I started a new chapter, The Making of a Scientist on Friday (08/12/2017) which I completed on Tuesday (12/12/2017).  These activities helped to enhance their language.  On 01/01/2018, I conducted a test of 20 marks to check their level of learning and their understanding level.  Thirty eight students out of 42 attended the exam.  Almost all of them had a good performance. On 01/01/2018, I also started the chapter, Climate change is not hysteria – it’s a fact. I gave them many group activities and assignment related to the chapter by giving activity cards.  I employed power point presentations to make the classes lively. Also, I checked their homework, and listening and reading comprehensions. Students were attentive in my class.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
             This week I conducted many co-curricular activities in the school.  In this week, I conducted physical education class for 9 M students.  Pupil were more energetic.  Refreshment games were provided for the students.  This kind of outdoor activities made students more active and relaxed.  In 12/12/2018, I conducted a debate competition in class 9M, on the topic “Is School Uniform needed for Students”.  All the students participated well.             
VI WEEK [03-01-2018 - 09-01-2018]
CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
On Wednesday  (03/01/2018), I completed the the chapter, Climate change is not hysteria – it’s a fact. After that I dealt with the textual activities which include language activities too. On 05/01/2018, I conducted achievement test which is of 25 marks. Thirty eight students out of 42 attended the exam.  I gave them many group activities and assignment related to the chapter by giving activity cards.  I employed power point presentations to make the classes lively. Also, I checked their homework, and listening and reading comprehensions. Students were attentive in my class.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
             In this week I conducted conscientization programme in 9.B class. My topic was “The Impact of Advertisement in School Children”. In the class I showed some magazine advertisements in charts and flash cards. Students were eager to know the deception behind advertisements. The conscientization class was effective.  It gave us more chance to interact with the students. 
             For me, teaching practice was a nice experience.  It gave us chance to interact with students.  It helped us to understand children almost deeply.  By this practice, we understand the qualities of a good teacher by experience.
VI WEEK [10-01-2018 to  24-01-2018]
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
             In this week we sent to school for the data collection for our thesis. I also did my data collection for my thesis.  All students co-operated with me.  Teachers also were supportive.  Data collection became simple for me when the students gave reliable answers.
