How to write a profile.

1.      Write a heading

2.      Write the hints which are given in the questions as complete sentences.  Usually, students don’t write additional details. Only, they develop the hints. The details such as birth details, education, achievements etc. are written in the past tense.

                                 Pratibha Patil, the first Indian woman President, was born on Dec. 19, 1934 at Nadgaon Village in Maharashtra. Her husband’s name is Dr Devsingh Shekhawat. She has a daughter and a son. She did her schooling from RR Vidhyalaya at Jalgaon in Maharashtra. She got an MA from Modjee Jeta College in Jalgaon.  She got LLB from Govt. Law College in Mumbai. She worked as a lawyer. She engaged in so many social activities such as music, computer and sewing class for the poor. She even worked for women empowerment.  She served as MLA, MP, Deputy Minister and Cabinet Minister. She was elected as the 12^th President of India.
